Emotional Quotient (EQ) refers to a person's ability to recognize, understand, and manage their own emotions, as well as understand and influence the emotions of others. In the context of media production, EQ can play an important role in creating content that resonates with the audience on an emotional level.

Overall, emotional intelligence is an essential element of media production, allowing creators to create content that connects with the audience on a deeper level, leaving a lasting impact.

Our Founder

Bryce Bagwill is an Emmy Award-winning storyteller who began working in media in 1984. His vast experiences as a creative professional, from working as a Producer and Editor in both radio and television to Lead Digital Content Coordinator for an international television show, give him a unique understanding of how media flows and how creative people want to interact with technology.

In 2012, Bryce was offered a position as Adjunct Faculty at Webster University, where he spearheaded the development and instruction of a curriculum centered around Digital Asset Management techniques.

As part of the Film and Television Studies curriculum, he teaches courses on Video Editing and Graphics and Effects. These classes provide students with comprehensive knowledge in media management, postproduction roles and workflows, the intricacies of the edit language, fundamental toolset navigation, color theory, color correction and grading, emotional editing, editing mechanics, and genre-specific editing techniques.
